Meet Ellen | she/her | biracial-Black

Welcome. I’m a licensed mental health therapist and certified Usui reiki and flower essence practitioner in Columbus, Ohio. With over a decade in practice, my approach centers on guiding you to reconnect with your inherent worth and dignity. You are already self-actualized.

My own healing journey taught me that true transformation requires caring for our whole selves- mind, body, and energy. Growing up in a neglectful family dynamic, I often played the role of “the strong one,” containing my own needs to prioritize others. My lived experience shaped me in understanding how challenging it can be to thaw out from emotional numbness.

After decades of learning, healing, and growth, I’m a much more embodied version of myself, focused on creating a space to support you in transforming emotional barriers and becoming who you truly are. My approach to mental wellness harmonizes evidence-based practices, nature-based healing, and energy work in a truly integrated and personal way. I value honoring the connection between our bodies and the earth, finding nature support to be vital to my own healing. People often describe our work together as supportive, connective, honest, and relatable.

I most enjoy working with fellow recovering strong ones, therapists, women, QTBIPOC, elders, and creatives. To work together, you can schedule therapy, reiki, or flower essence sessions throughout the website. I’d also encourage signing up for my newsletter, where I share about nature-based group programming throughout the year.
